The refreshed Jolion off-roader bows with a redesigned exterior and a new hybrid powertrain. The same crossover is available in China and Russia with a 1.5-liter TFSI, while customers in Thailand also get access to a part-electric variant of it. In China, the facelifted Jolion remains to be revealed.
An electric motor assists the
abovementioned turbo engine and raises the power output from 150 PS to 190 PS. The torque peaks at 375 Nm.
The battery is as small as 1.8 kWh, so it cannot be charged separately or go
full-electric. The main advantage is fuel economy: the hybrid consumes 4.2
liters of gas per 100 kilometers on average, down from 8.1 liters in the
Russian FWD spec.
As for the exterior, the main changes are
at the front clip. There are new headlights, a different radiator grille, and
redesigned bumper inserts. The rear and the cabin stay unchanged. Prices in
Thailand start from 879,000 Baht.
