The Audi RS Q8 could be viewed as a cheaper and slightly less overt alternative to the Lamborghini Urus. However, this modified RS Q8 brought to life by Manhart doesn’t just give it significantly more grunt than its Italian sibling but also has even more road presence. From the factory, the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 of the RS Q8 churns out 591 hp and 800 Nm of torque.
Not satisfied, Manhart has developed new
turbochargers for the SUV, fitted an upgraded intercooler, installed a carbon
fiber air intake, and remapped the ECU. Additionally, the SUV now sports a
stainless steel exhaust system with adjustable valves and quad, 100 mm tailpipes
that can be ceramic coated or finished in carbon fiber. Sports downpipes with
200-cell catalytic converters have also been fitted.
These modifications mean the RS Q8 from
Manhart churns out 818 hp and 1,050 Nm, prompting a name change to
the ‘RQ 800’. Various other upgrades are offered to customers. For example,
customers can pay extra for Manhart to fit a beefed-up braking system.
Suspension modifications are also available.
The Audi RQ 800 in the photos stands out
thanks to the Manhart Classic Line wheels measuring 24×10.5 at the front and
24×12.5 at the rear. These wheels are finished in satin black and have a red
decorative stripe. They are wrapped in 295/30 and 355/25 tires. Manhart has
also equipped the SUV with various pieces of red trim across the front fascias,
wing mirrors, and rear diffuser. There is also a matte grey and red stripe
running across the hood and over the roof.
