The 2022 Kia Niro facelift debuted in November, but the company only disclosed its specifications several days ago, and those were for the Korean/global version. The North American variant remains to be introduced, and in the meantime, here it is being tested somewhere in California.
The prototype test vehicle looks nearly identical to the one
introduced on the domestic market, but the headlamps now sport amber-hued
reflectors in the corners. The vertical brake lights look inspired by the
HabaNiro Concept, but probably only work as brake lights.
Note also an additional array of lights on the rear bumper.
The red sections are reflectors, while the yellow ones have to be the turn
indicators.
