Brabus has just unveiled the latest in its range of Mercedes-AMG G 63-based 800 XLP pickups, this time dubbed the Superwhite. The German tuning company first unveiled its 800 XLP Adventure two years ago and back in January, showcased its Superblack variant. The new Superwhite is largely identical, except for the fact that it is painted white rather than black. In transforming a regular G 63 into an 800 XLP pickup, Brabus extends the vehicle and fits its Widestar bodykit that includes unique wheel arches, an overhauled front fascia, a bespoke hood, and a set of 22-inch forged wheels with Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires.
In addition, Brabus has also taken a leaf
out of the Mercedes playbook by equipping it with advanced portal axles, much
like the G63 6×6 and the G500 4×4². The use of these portal axles gives the 800
XLP Adventure no less than 488 mm of ground clearance and
promises to dramatically improve its off-roading abilities.
Brabus has also comprehensively modified
the vehicle’s engine. Thanks to some tuning of the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter
V8, the pickup pumps out 789 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. This engine
drives all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission, helping the
truck hit 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds while pushing through to a 210 km/h electronically-limited top speed.
The owner of this example didn’t just want
to make a statement with the white paint job but also commissioned Brabus to
bathe the interior with white leather across the seats, and door panels. The
pickup also has white across the lower half of the dashboard, the steering
wheel, and the air vents. Adorning the headliner is black Alcantara.
