The most important concept is an evolution of last year’s Magneto previewing the first fully electric Wrangler. The 2.0 version is fitted with a significantly more powerful electric powertrain, producing 616 hp and a monstrous 1,152 Nm of torque, taking energy from a 70 kWh battery. This is more than double the power and triple the torque of the original Magneto.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a
Hellcat-sourced six-speed manual gearbox allowing a 0-96 km/h acceleration in just 2 seconds which represents an all-time record for
Wranglers. The Magneto 2.0 concept is also fitted with 40-inch wheels,
carbon-fiber parts, a Dynatrac 60 Pro-Rock front axle, a Dynatrac 80 rear axle,
lockers, and custom driveshafts. It is based on the two-door Wrangler but it
sports a wheelbase stretched by 12 inches and comes with a 3-inch lift kit.
