Audi has published photos of its new Q6 SUV for China. The vehicle is based on the Volkswagen Teramont chassis, making it the largest Audi SUV on the market. The images depict an SUV with individual seats in the second row, rather than a bench. They offer plenty of adjustments, as well as heating, ventilation and massage functions. The trim largely involved stitched leather finished in champagne and dark grey colors. While not official, we suppose the separate seats will only be available in the top trim specification.

A three-display cockpit is also in view, incorporating a digital dashboard, an infotainment system screen and an HVAC control panel. Diagonal sizes remain unannounced. Other notable features include contour ambient lighting and novel dashboard styling in front of the passenger's seat.

The Audi Q6 for China will premiere on June 6, 2022 and go on sale later (no specific date available yet). The most basic version will use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine available in 231 PS and 265 PS variants. Opting for a 2.5-liter V6 will net you 299 PS instead. The drive can be installed on the front axle or both.

In its flagship spec named the 50TFSI, the soft-roader rides on 21-inch wheels and sports an upmarket matte exterior. It also comes with animated door lighting effects triggering whenever a door is opened or closed.
