Irmscher has unveiled tuned variants of the passenger-focused Fiat Ulysse and the commercial-oriented Fiat Scudo vans, giving the duo some added style. Alterations start at the front end where Irmscher has fitted a revised lip that makes the fascia look much more aggressive but without being overbearing. This lip is painted in the same color as the rest of the bodywork but can be optioned with a bright red accent in the center. Styling tweaks continue down the sides of both the Ulysse and the Scudo and include extended side skirts. Rounding out the modifications made to the body of the Fiat vans include the fitment of a large roof-mounted spoiler, a revised rear bumper, and two available black graphics packages.
Eye-catching wheels have also been
developed. These wheels have a ‘Heli Star’ design, are available in 18-, 19-,
and 20-inch sizes and are finished in black and can be equipped with red center
caps. Rounding out the upgrades are aftermarket springs that drop the ride
height by 30 mm and give the vans a much sportier look.
Fiat unveiled the new Ulysse and Scudo
back in October last year. The two vans are essentially rebadged versions of
the Peugeot Expert/Traveller, Citroen Jump/SpaceTourer, Opel/Vauxhall
Vivaro/Zafira Life, and the Toyota Proace/Proace Verso, meaning they share the
same EMP2 platform.
The duo are offered in diesel and
all-electric configurations. The electric models, known as the E-Ulysse and
E-Scudo, feature a 134 hp electric motor that can be coupled to either a 50 kWh
or 75 kWh battery pack. The EVs can charge at speeds of up to 100 kW, meaning
it takes approximately 30 and 45 minutes to charge the 50 kWh and the 75 kWh
pack respectively to 80 per cent.
