Human Horizons has been testing its upcoming HiPhi Z electric car in full camo, but someone has just leaked shots of a naked car to AutoHome.cn. It looks like the images were made on a conveyor belt, possibly during assembly quality control. This is evidenced by the light stripes and the fact that the photo has captured multiple units. Such details as standard mirrors instead of video cams suggest they are production models, too.
The HiPhi Z boasts a futuristic appearance
with unusual outlines, front end and rear end with its lacking windshield and
integrated spoiler. The manufacturer promises us aerodynamically optimized
wheels and multiple body paint choices.
From the outside, the production car looks
like its concept version from last year (see video). In all likelihood, the
interior will also be the same or similar. The ptototype had a dual-spoke
steering wheel with a touch-sensitive hub panel and a swiveling infotainment
screen.
Speaking of the infotainment screen, it is
suspended on a metallic mount that lets it turn to face the passenger or the
drive and change orientation between portrait and landscape. AutoHome claims it
can even be configured to bob and weave along with the music. Having said that,
there are no interior photos of the production car yet. All technical
specifications and the launch date remain unannounced.
