The Delight is being projected in line with the company’s mission to put smart, portable, electric power within reach of everybody.
The launch of the Gogoro Delight comes
amidst heightened tensions between China and Taiwan where Gogoro is based. The
Delight e-scooter enables a data-driven ecosystem where ownership, sharing, and
swapping are seamless. Gogoro says it will use collected data to increase the
efficiency of its ecosystem. Gogoro is a Taiwanese electric mobility
manufacturer renowned for its swappable battery technology. It has a growing
collection of electric two-wheelers and hundreds of swapping stations called
GoStations.
The Gogoro Delight is designed primarily
for women and it is marketed as such. The company’s slogan for the new
e-scooter is: Designed by her for her. It has a big seating area that can take
two people and comes in four colors. It is a relatively bulky e-scooter with a
seat height of 729 mm and an efficient lighter stand for easier parking.
There are cushions on the scooter for the
rider’s knees while a walking mode is also featured. The storage compartment
has a refillable fragrance outlet as an added female-centric feature. The
Delight could come with a maximum range of 93 miles and a top speed of 30mph.
