The second generation of the Honda XR-V SUV has been officially introduced in China. The car is essentially a localized variant of the international HR-V model.
It is worth noting that the all-electric
version of the SUV has been on sale in China since the spring,
while the newly revealed one runs on gas. Compared to its European cousin, the
China spec comes with a distinct radiator grille, new décor and revised
interior trim colors. Rotating the front wheels is a 1.5-liter non-turbo engine
connected through a CVT. The power tops out at 124 PS, and
there are no other options.
The Dongfeng-Honda joint enterprise will
handle the production, the announcement points out.
