The Korean brand Kia starts selling a new version of the Sportage crossover in China. Interestingly, the car is already on sale in many countries, but a modification of the Sportage Ace of the previous generation was available in China. Now a fifth-generation crossover has reached China. The length of the crossover is 4,660 mm, and the distance between the axes reaches 2,755 mm. Quite good indicators for their class.
At the same time, an exterior with an
off-road accent was chosen for China – you can recognize it by the larger
bumpers and the presence of roof rails. The interior of the car practically
does not differ from the global version – the changes relate mainly to the
climate control module.
It is expected that the new Sportage in
China will be available with two engines. The 2.0-liter turbo engine will
produce 236 hp, and a hybrid version will also appear. Recall that in the
Russian Federation, the Kia Sportage of the new generation began to be sold in
mid–July – the crossover costs at least 2,849,900 excluding dealer margins.
