The first photo of Hyundai Sonata 2023 has hit the Internet. The family sedan will undergo a major upgrade and will be presented in April next year. It was reported during a stream on the Korean YouTube channel Media Auto. New Hyundai Sonata 2023 will change drastically externally. The front part of the sedan is designed in the spirit of the minivan Hyundai Staria, with thin diode headlights across the whole width of the body and a huge grille. At the back, the headlights have been freshened up.
The Interior of the Hyundai Sonata will
also be updated, but so far there are no pictures. In addition, it became known
that the engine lineup of the sedan will be narrowed. Gasoline turbo engines
will remain in the range of 1.6 liters (180 hp), 2.0 liter (240 hp), and 2.5
liters (290 hp), and also hybrid versions with a capacity of 195 and 205 hp. In
South Korea and some other countries, the 2.0-liter 150-horsepower modification
with factory HBO will be offered.
Hyundai Sonata 2023 will be the last
version in the history of the model. Earlier it became known that the
production of the sedan is planned to stop in 2027 or 2028, and its new generation
is not planned. Together with Sonata will be removed from production and
related sedan Kia K5.
