2023 Hyundai i20 facelift has been spotted testing in South Korea. The prototype hatchback is wearing heavy camouflage up front, party camouflaged on the side profile and gets completely covered for the rear profile. You can expect the carmaker to offer some new styling details with a revised grille, new headlights, new bumper, new tail lights and different alloy wheel design.
The interior too is likely to get some
updates to make it look fresh and different. Along with the cosmetic changes,
Hyundai is as always expected to offer some segment-first features with the
facelifted i20.
The current generation Hyundai i20 was
launched exactly two years back in the Indian market. While the facelifted
version has been spotted testing in South Korea, don’t expect the carmaker to
introduce the updated model in India before Diwali 2023.
Under the hood, the i20 facelift
is likely to continue with the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.2-litre
naturally aspirated petrol engine options. However, the 1.5-litre diesel unit
is expected to get discontinued with the new model arrives.
