Toyota is likely to launch Innova CNG soon with the Crysta. The Japanese carmaker recently removed the Crysta from the website. However, they won’t discontinue the much loved MPV and will sell the Crysta alongside the HyCross.
The carmaker will bring back the Crysta in
the first quarter of 2023 but it might come with some changes. The petrol
variants of the Innova Crysta will most likely get a new CNG option. This will
appeal the fleet owners, specially those who operate in Delhi-NCR.
The 2.7-litre, four-cylinder petrol will
most likely be offered with the CNG option. The diesel variants will also make
a comeback. This move will offer the customers a wide range of powertrain
options in the Innova Crysta and HyCross range – petrol, CNG, diesel and hybrid
engines.
We can also expect Toyota to make some
changes to the Crysta when re-introduced. It is likely to get updated with new
variants for better differentiation with the HyCross. The range topping
variants are likely to be discontinued. Toyota might rename the car as well.
