Ford unveiled the 2024 Mustang in September, but the automaker has been keeping a handful of details under wraps. However, a few more pieces of the puzzle are starting to fall into place as Ford Authority has posted a window sticker of a 2024 Mustang GT Premium. The thing that immediately stands out is the horsepower rating, which Ford had been tight-lipped about. Now, the cat’s out of the bag as the Monroney says the 5.0-liter V8 will produce 450 hp, which is the same rating as the outgoing model.
The window sticker goes on to say the
coupe will come with LED lighting units, a ventilated hood, and pony projection
lamps which display the Mustang logo on the ground. They’ll be joined by
rain-sensing wipers and power, heated side mirrors.
Moving inside, there are leather seats, a
leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an ambient lighting system. Drivers will
also find an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a dual-zone automatic climate
control system, and illuminated sill plates. Ford has already confirmed the
Mustang will have a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.2-inch SYNC 4
infotainment system, although this particular model is listed as having an
8-inch SYNC 3 system.
On the performance front, the window sticker
says the car comes standard with an engine oil cooler and a limited slip rear
end. However, this particular variant sports the GT Performance Package that
appears to include Brembo brakes, black calipers, MagneRide dampers, and
revised gearing.
We can expect to learn more about the
Mustang in the coming months, but it’s important to note there could be changes
to the equipment list.
