Mahindra has showcased a new XUV400 OneOfOne special edition. This special edition is designed by automotive designer Pratap Bose in collaboration with leading fashion icon Rimzim Dadu. The new Mahindra XUV400 OneOfOne special edition was the part of Mahindra Automotive’s Tech Fashion Tour Season 6. This special edition is designed to showcase fashion with fabrics as the primary component. It comes with a twin-peaks copper-hued Mahindra logo with a blue outline. Also visible is the ‘Rimzim Dadu X Bose’ symbol on the windshield and other exterior parts.

The fabric-inspired elements are also visible inside the cabin. The ‘Rimzim Dadu X Bose’ insignia is embedded on the seat’s headrest. The cabin is finished in a vibrant Arctic Blue scheme, which is also visible on the upholstery. For people not in the know, the XUV400 electric SUV is based on the XUV300 subcompact SUV. The XUV300 is measuring under 4 meters in length, while the XUV400 is 4.2 meters in length and offers a best-in-class boot space of 378-litres/418-litres (up to roof). It is reportedly to be offered in 3 variants – Base, EP and EL.

The Mahindra XUV400 is fitted with a front-axle-mounted electric motor that draws power from a 39.4kWh battery pack. It is claimed to offer 150 bhp of power and 310 Nm of torque. The electric SUV is claimed to achieve 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 8.3 seconds, which makes it the quickest in the segment. The SUV claims to offer an electronically limited top speed of 150kmph. It will have a certified range of 456 km on a single charge. Using a 50kW fast charger, the XUV400’s battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 50 minutes. It comes with 3 driving modes – Fun, Fast and Fearless. The electric SUV also offers the segment-first single pedal drive mode – Lively mode.
