Since its debut, the Genesis GV70 has become known as one of Hyundai’s best-appointed SUVs ever. A facelift is already underway to the market, but the current version is not really outdated, either – here’s the proof.
The GV70 Project Overland is a joint
initiative between Genesis and Delta celebrating the tuning company turning 40
years old this year. The idea was to build a more capable off-roader without
any far-reaching chassis modifications. The team that worked on the project
installed a lift kit and replaced the stock tires with a grippier Continental
ATR set. The arches were flared to accommodate the bigger wheels.
A set of PIAA floodlights on the roof and
Baja Style lamps built into the radiator grille are a welcome addition for
those driving at night. A purpose-designed expedition rack will come in handy
during long off-road trips. The GV70 Project Overland will make a show debut at
the motor show in Germany coming up on December 1–10, 2023.
