According to Autocar India, the next Hyundai Creta facelift will be introduced in the country on January 16, 2024 and go on sale several weeks later. There will be some exterior tweaks and a new engine option.

The crossover has already received a cosmetic update in some markets two years ago, with the new style bringing it closer to its upmarket cousins like the Tucson. Still, according to Autocar India, the local version will receive a somewhat different styling treatment. It is expected to get rectangular headlights like the latest Exter and Santa FE, revised bumpers and its own radiator grille. The passenger space will likely stay the same unless you count new trim options.

Customers in India will reportedly get a new powertrain to consider – a 1.5-liter turbo rated at 160 PS. Hyundai is already using the same engine on the Alcazar and some other models. It will allegedly be available with manual and 7DCT to choose from. Some say this particular engine will be exclusive to the N-Line spec along with new 18-inch wheels.

For the time being, the Hyundai Creta is only available in India with two 1.5-liter engines – a petrol and a diesel one, both rated at 115 PS.
