The latest Range Rover Sport is quite a head-turner, featuring bold styling that’s both aggressive and sophisticated. Now, British tuner Urban Automotive has made the SUV even more dramatic with the release of two comprehensive styling packages, for anyone who thinks the standard Range Rover Sport is a little too subtle. Urban refers to its packages as the Widetrack and the Narrowbody. The first of these two pays homage to the Range Rover Sport that the tuner customized back in 2018 and has been presented in a special shade of Estoril Blue, a color no longer offered by the factory. It also sits on a set of custom UV-1R satin gold wheels from Vossen.
All models equipped with the Widetrack
package receive an overhauled carbon fiber front bumper that we think looks
brilliant and doesn’t fall into the trap of looking over the top. Several
pieces of exposed carbon fiber are found across the revised fascia, including a
three-piece splitter.
The tuner has also added a carbon fiber
bonnet, flared wheel arches, carbon fiber wing mirror covers, and a new rear
bumper, complete with a carbon fiber diffuser to the Range Rover. From an
aerodynamic standpoint, the Range Rover Sport hardly needs a big diffuser, but
it definitely looks the part. This diffuser has also been joined by milled
billet aluminum exhaust finishes and a rear spoiler.
Then there’s the Narrowbody package. As
the name indicates, it does without the flared wheel arches and simply consists
of new front and rear bumpers, carbon fiber side sills, and an upper rear
spoiler in carbon fiber. Both the Widetrack and Narrowbody models can be paired
with 23-inch and 24-inch cast or forged alloy wheels. Urban also offers an
optional Milltek Sport performance exhaust to add some extra menace to the
powertrain.
Prices for the British firm’s packages
start from £ 25,000 (US$ 33,000).
