Farboud
GTS Supercharged
The
Farboud GTS is an attractive low production sportscar which came about though a
chance encounter between Arash Farboud - the creator - and Chris Marsh, Marsh
designed and produced the Invicta S1 and ran Marcos for 11 years. The factory
where the Farboud GTS is produced is located in Dyrham near Bath, England.
The
Farboud GTS is available with either a naturally aspirated 3.0-Litre V6 making 275
bhp or a supercharged 3.0-Litre V6 putting out 375 bhp.
The
GTS has undergone wind tunnel testing at MIRA to ensure aerodynamic efficiency
and the body is constructed from a lightweight carbon fiber composite.
The
chassis of the GTS consists of a steel frame work with an aluminium and steel
centre tub incorporating an integrated safety cage.
The
interior of the Farboud GTS is Spartan and race inspired, however air
conditioning and a CD player come as standard. Leather upholstered seats are an
option.
