Ginetta
F400
The
Ginetta F400 is a high-tech niche sports car which was actually developed by
Farboud as the GTS. However Ginetta later purchased the design and began
producing the car themselves.
The
Ginetta F400 features a lightweight steel spaceframe chassis and carbon fiber
bodywork. Mounted in the middle of the car is a 410 horsepower supercharged 3.0
litre V6. The power is sent to the road through a six-speed manual gearbox. The
zero-to-sixty sprint is dealt with in just 3.7 seconds, and the top speed is an
impressive 185 mph.
The
suspension system of the Ginetta F400 comprises of a double wishbone setup
front and rear, with dampers and coil-over springs. The braking system of the
Ginetta F400 consist of six-piston callipers with 350 mm vented discs on the
front, and 328 mm vented discs on the rear.
The
Ginetta F400 also features a flat floor the full length of the car, joining the
front splitter and rear diffuser, which provides exceptional downforce giving
excellent handling qualities.
The
storage compartment is large enough to fit a standard set of golf clubs, or
several pieces of luggage. There is also extra luggage space on the parcel
shelf, secured with optional bespoke luggage straps.
