upcoming R18 etron quattro race hypercar under the name Scorpion, will get
Diesel Hybrid powertrain, said to arrive in 2016 or 2017.
The
new Audi upcoming Scorpion R18 etron quattro will be powered by a turbocharged
3.7-liter V6 diesel engine that producing 600 bhp (447 kW) and backed up by an
electric motor contributing an additional 100 bhp (74 kW). The combined maximum
output will be 700 bhp (522 kW).
Will
be available for more than US$ 1 million, with a limited production of 333 units.
