Automobiles has introduced the DS 3 Dark Light limited edition in the UK. Only
300 units will be made. The special edition is aimed to showcase the brand’s
focus on avant-garde design.
Originally
showcased at the at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed the DS 3 sporting a
shimmering vinyl-wrap, garnered a lot of attention and positive feedback.
Following the high level of interest, the company has decided to introduce a
limited edition based on the DStyle Nav trim.
The
DS 3 Dark Light limited edition sports a Perla Nera Black paint scheme along
with a unique clear-backed metallic vinyl wrap. The company informs that the
vinyl material used is of high quality, scratch resistant and6 able to
withstand automated car washes and fuel spills.
The
limited edition also features incorporation of the signature DS LED Vision
headlamps, chrome door mirrors, Dark light badging on the front wings and
tailgate along with 17-inch black diamond cut Bellone alloy wheels.
The
interior has also not been left behind, receiving eMyWay satellite navigation,
black leather pack, sport front seats and armrest, Dark Light dashboard
badging, aluminium sport pedals along with premium carpet mats and a
Convenience Pack which includes features like, auto dimming rear view mirror,
powered door mirrors and auto lights and wipers.
Under
the hood, there’s a 1.2-litre PureTech 110 S&S turbocharged petrol engine
that produces 108 hp (110 PS) of power and 205 Nm of torque. The engine is
mated to an EAT6 6-speed automatic transmission. The DS 3 Dark Light limited
edition is priced at £ 20,795 OTR and is available for order.
