Honda
CBR250RR
Honda
is at the brink of launching the CBR250RR, a more sporty version of the current
CBR250R. It is expected that the new motorcycle would be unveiled during the
44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015.
But
for the moment, imagination has taken over at Motoblast, who have successfully
created a very convincing render of how the new CBR250RR might look like. This
new render is based on the Honda CBR250RR concept that was recently revealed by
Honda. Motoblast’s render adds more street-legal parts such as mirrors,
headlights, indicators and a standard exhaust to it, while covering the render
in a more Honda-esque colour scheme.
The
new CBR250RR will in most probability be a model for the Asian markets, while Honda
would be working on a slightly larger 300 cc or 350 cc model that would make it
to the western markets of Europe and America. This new model imagined as the
CBR300RR would be a direct competition to the Yamaha R3 and the KTM RC 390 in
what is one of the fastest growing and fiercely competitive quarter-litre
segment.
Since
there is no further official word from Honda on the new motorcycle model, we
would have to sit tight and wait for the Tokyo Motor Show to understand more
about it. The event is scheduled to take place between October 29 – November 8.
