Zotye Z700

Zotye Auto has released the first official photos of final production version of the Zotye Z700 sedan. The Z700, formerly known as the Zotye Z600, is the largest Zotye-branded vehicle ever, it will be launched on the Chinese car  market in the third quarter of the year.

The Zotye Z700 will be positioned above the Zotye Z500 sedan. Price will start around 110.000 yuan and end around 160.000 yuan. New news on the engine: earlier on we heard the Z700 was going to get a 177 hp 2.0 turbo and a 150 hp 1.8 turbo. No more. Lone engine will be a 1.8-litre turbo with 170 hp and 245 nm, sending power to the front wheels via a six-speed DCT.

Zotye has a very good look at the Audi A6 for the interior. Nevertheless, quality seems good. Pop-up screen for the infotainment system. Lots of wood and leather. Analogue clock with a spacey blue background. Only dissonant is the steering wheel which looks far too 2015.

Graphics are acceptable. Functions will include satellite navigation, television, 3G internet, email, telephone, and a music system. Clock here with a black background. Wood looks good. Electronic parking brake. The Z700 also gets: ABS, EBD, and a fancy autonomous-parking system.

The top-spec variant get a panoramic sunroof. Door handles and tailpipes in chrome. The rear end with a shark fin antenna and a subtle spoiler in the boot lid.
