BMW M235i by G-Power

Current owners of the BMW M235i who desire the M2’s performance specs but don’t feel like trading in their car, might want to take a look at what the tuning minds over at G-Power have to offer.

Their new plug and play BI-TRONIK 2 V1 performance software gives the M235i’s 3.0-liter turbocharged six a 54 PS and 80 Nm boost, taking it from 326 PS and 450 Nm to 380 PS and 530 Nm respectively, besting the M2’s 370 PS and 465 Nm.

G-Power says that with this ECU upgrade, priced at € 2,320.50 (US$ 2,508) or € 2.428,89 (US$ 2,625) with installation, the M235i matches the manual M2’s 0-100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds, without specifying the transmission, but either way, it’s faster than both the stock M235i 6sp manual model (5.0 seconds) and 8sp automatic (4.8 seconds).

You can also opt for the software that allows the increase of the factory restricted top speed from 250 km/h to 300 km/h for € 794,92 (US$ 860) or € 903,31 (US$ 976) with installation.
