Mercedes-Benz C450
AMG 4MATIC by Brabus
With 367 PS and 520 Nm of
torque already on tap, the Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG 4MATIC is a prime candidate
for a little bit of Brabus magic.
By integrating a new plug-and-play
tuning module into the engine electronics of the C450's 3.0-liter
twin-turbocharged V6, Brabus has managed to add an extra 43 PS and 50 Nm, which will help the "almost-flagship" C-Class hit 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, approximately 0.3 seconds quicker than before. Top speed also increases from 250 km/h to 280 km/h, on top of which, customers will get some much
needed peace of mind through Brabus' 3-year/100,000 km warranty
- which matters when there's tinkering being done to your engine.
Other mods include the quad-sport
exhaust system with active butterfly vales, 19" tailor-made wheels, a new
body kit and some new interior bits we'll get into in a second. Before any of
that, we need to point out that according to Brabus, the added power is felt
across the entire rev range and that once you start paying attention to the
fuel consumption, you'll notice it's gone down thanks to the optimized in-gear
acceleration.
The exterior of the C450 now features a
custom front spoiler, a rear diffuser, rear spoiler and 19" Brabus
Monoblock S wheels, while the interior can also be customized with accessories
such as aluminum pedals, high-quality floor mats, exclusive Brabus leather,
Alcantara, plus either wood or carbon trim sets - depending on the owner's
preferences.
