Suzuki GSX-S1000 Yoshimura
Special Editions
Suzuki has prepared new
special editions for its GSX-S1000/A and GSX-S1000FA bikes, with lots of
goodies and accessories for the UK market.
For starters, a host of
Yoshimura components will accompany the new bikes, while a new graphics kit
will make them stand out from the “regular” crowd. Both special editions will
sport a Yoshimura R11 exhaust, as well as Yoshimura steering nut, timing plug
and oil filter cap.
Other specially implemented
accessories include wheel rim tape, fuel cap trim, paddock and bobbins, matt
black levers, heel plat trim, and an aggressive styling that accentuates the
motorcycles’ sportiness.
The pillion
footrests were removed and a pillion seat cowl was mounted instead, in order to
enhance the “sharp styling” of the seat units – as Suzuki claims. But worry
not, potential customer, as all these items will be provided along with the
motorcycles so that a passenger could be carried if the situation demands it.
Both superbikes will be
available in authorized Suzuki dealerships from March, with the non-ABS
GSX-S1000 Yoshimura Edition coming in at £ 9,799 (US$ 14,003), while the
GSX-S1000FA version is available for £ 10,699 (US$ 15,282).
