Hero Splendor iSmart 110
The iSmart is turning out to be a
sub-brand is going strong with the consumers and the comapny. Splendor and
Passion is the reason why Hero sells 3 lakh units every single month eyes
closed so there has to be a something new in the same category and this time,
the main focus, that is fuel economy is going to be highlight of this
motorcycle.
Hero previously said that they have
their own 110 cc engine and that it has tested already. We have already seen
Ismart 110 cc testing in the field too since a long time. The engine could
produce around 9 BHP and 9 Nm of torque. Other engine details are still under
the wraps but we expect it to be top-notch on NVH and city performance. The
system works when you depress the clutch the engine starts if the start-stop
system is on. The system can be turned off too.
A New fuel tank, new side panel and
tail-piece, which is one entire piece is all set to give the bike a completely
refreshed look too. Handlebars will now get Hero emblem embossed on them. Split
grab rails, new tail-lamp, a compact headlight cowl are the new highlights of
the motorcycle. Exhaust has a chrome tip at the end and is another feature to
distinguish it from the regular 100/110 cc motorcycle of the same stable. Clear
lens indicators are always welcome to add premium-ness to the package.
Single downtube frame with telescopic
forks at front along with disc brakes should be offered. Economy specific
tyres, 5-way adjustable rear suspension should come to the bike at the rear.
Drum brakes at the rear will make it to the bike. Front drum brakes will be
standard.
