Honda HR-V Executive and Civic Rally
The Honda HR-V Executive special edition
and Civic Rally car based on the previous gen model have been showcased at the
2016 Geneva Motor Show alongside the Civic Hatchback concept. Honda has not
talked about these two exhibits but the HR-V show car is likely to be
introduced as special edition variant in the future.
Honda Civic Rally
Based on the previous gen hatchback, the
Civic Rally’s purpose at the Geneva Motor Show is to entertain the motorsport
fans. The car is finished in Castrol Honda livery with full race-spec
aerodynamic body kit (front and rear spoilers, lowered suspension, side skirts,
widen body work, etc). The car is fitted with OZ Racing wheels and Yokohama
competition tyres. The rally car also sported an interior which is stripped to
bare minimum and fitted with mandatory anti-roll bars.
Honda HR-V Executive
The HR-V Executive is a purely cosmetic
exercise. The compact crossover has been bestowed by sharp chin with integrated
air splitter, glossy black grille applique, larger multispoke alloy wheels with
dual-tone glossy black and red finish, stylish brushed metal side step, red
wing mirror caps and a body colored rear bumper with black diffuser and
reflectors.
The interior changes are limited to new
seat fabrics, and leather wrapped gear lever, steering wheel and centre
console. There are no mechanical changes whatsoever.
