KTM X-Bow Black Edition

It isn’t easy to imagine an even harder KTM X-Bow, as the vehicle already is a very capable and precise track tool, but the new “Black Edition” takes things to a whole new level.

The X-Bow Black Edition sets new standards when it comes to “fully carbon-fiber vehicles”, featuring the composite material on every square inch of its body. In addition to the monocoque cell, all of the model’s components are made from carbon-fiber, including – get this – the underfloor, wheel arches and engine covers.

Of course, all of these parts are aerodynamically tuned to get the most out of the air passing above and beneath them, offering loads of downforce, sticking the whole car to the asphalt.

Based on the KTM X-Bow GT, the Black Edition features additional new highlights that set it apart from the regular model (not counting the carbon-fiber everything, of course). The sticker kit, which is mainly located on the side of the monocoque is unique in color, while the 18 and 19-inch BBS rims go along nicely with the overall design.

Step inside the cockpit and you’re greeted by hand-stitched comfort seats with color coordinated stitching and stamped with the model’s logo, a suede leather steering wheel, and all-aluminum inserts and pedals.

Under the hood, the Audi-sourced, turbocharged 2.0-litre engine was upgraded to 320 PS, while the transmission received a quick shifter for quicker gear changes. Only five such models are available for purchase, each one costing € 99,000 (US$ 107,435).
