Suzuki Ozark 250 and QuadSport Z400
Suzuki Motorcycle India presented the
Suzuki Ozark 250 and the Suzuki QuadSport Z400 at the Auto Expo 2016. These are the first ATVs of Suzuki in India which were launched at the
India Superbike Festival in Pune in December 2015.
The Suzuki Ozark 250 is priced at INR
5.45 lakh. It is powered by a 246 cc air-cooled
single-cylinder OHC engine that is mated to a five-speed gearbox with a reverse
gear. It has a wheelbase of 1,140 mm, ground clearance of 210 mm, seat height
of 785 mm, kerb weight of 199 kg and fuel tank capacity of 9.7 litres.
The ATV rides on 22×7-11 tubeless tyres
at the front and 22×10-9 tubeless tyres at the rear, has disc brakes upfront
and drum brakes at the rear, and features independent, double wishbone front
suspension with oil damped coil spring shock absorbers, and swingarm type rear
suspension with coil spring, oil damped shocks.
The Suzuki QuadSport Z400 is a
high-performance off-road vehicle that is priced at INR 8.50 lakhs. It features the same type of suspension and brakes as the
Ozark 250 but rides on 22×7-R10 tubeless tyres upfront and 20×10-R9 tubeless
tyres at the rear. It has 1,245 mm of wheelbase, 265 mm of ground clearance,
810 mm of saddle height, 193 kg of kerb weight and 9.1 litres of fuel tank
capacity.
The Quadsport Z400 is powered by a 398
cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with DOHC that is offered with a
five-speed transmission with a reverse gear.
