Quadro 4
Announced since the creation of the
brand in 2010 and regularly exhibited at trade fairs, the Quadro 4 is about to
be marketed. At the EICMA in Milan, where we visited the Italian-Swiss, the
scooter 4 wheel was widely appreciated, taking the spotlight from the Quadro S
and Oxygen3 concept on the stand. It even came with demonstrations of crossing
(median, stairs) outdoors.
Through its "mini-show" Quadro
demonstrated the dynamic qualities of the scooter which, with its four wheels
14 '' and his famous suspensions HRT (Hydraulic Tilting System), offers solid
stability. The exercise of negotiating steps already put forward at the exit of
350S, a new dimension with a 45 ° tilt angle, against 40 ° for 3-wheeled model.
Pushed into a corner, the Quadro 4 is
impressive. The neophytes, privileged target qualified models in category L5e
will be reassured by its maneuverability and best handling on any terrain.
Experienced scooter riders take their side pleasure in driving the colossus of
257 kilos, which ensures trajectory worthy of hypersportive cornering.
The rest of the formula is very close to
what was announced in June. The Quadro 4 over the aesthetic codes of the Quadro
S and its single-cylinder 346 cc. Engineers have however grafted him an engine
block balancer + differential transmission and a double belt. Accordingly, the
maximum power going from 27 to 30 horsepower, which compensates its weight.
Finally, note a few surprises next
accreditation with a larger safe seat, dual 12V charging socket or a modernized
dashboard design. Production of 4 wheel scooter will start next month in Taiwan
for delivery in Quadro concessions next spring. The model will be available in
colors red, white, gray and black and priced around € 9,500 (to be confirmed).
