Toyota Corolla Fielder and Corolla Axio
Special Edition
Toyota has announced special editions of
the Toyota Corolla Fielder and Corolla Axio that commemorate the 50th
anniversary of the Corolla in Japan.
The Toyota Corolla Fielder Special
edition features a red line on the large hexagonal grille, which is flanked by
Bi-Beam LED head lamp, sporty seats upholstered in a combination of fabric and
synthetic leather on the front seat, contrast red stitching, and red accents
around the HVAC vents and instrument dials.
As for the Toyota Corolla Axio Special
edition, it gets a new dot pattern for the lower hexagonal grille, smoked
finish for the upper grille that is flanked by Bi-Beam LED, and new 16-inch
alloy wheels (4WD variants will ride on 15-inch alloy wheels). Inside, the
seats are upholstered with a combination of fabric and synthetic leather,
contrast white stitching on the seats and steering wheel, and piano black
accents on the steering wheel and gear selector.
Both models are available in regular
petrol and hybrid variants. The former is powered by a 1.5L engine paired to a
CVT, while the latter combines an electric motor to the same engine and CVT
setup. The regular petrol variant offers an AWD system as optional equipment.
