Hero Electric NYX
The Hero Electric NYX has been
launched in India at Rs 29,990 (on-road). With sales commencing on June 5, the
World Environment Day, the NYX electric scooter will be initially sold only
through an online portal.
The NYX comes with telescopic front
suspension and a swingarm-linked rear monoshock. The dual split seats offer
comfort for the rider and the pillion, while the ample space on the floorboard
offers room for luggage. In the initial phase, the Hero Electric NYX will be
available only in 15 cities, though eventually all Hero Electric showrooms
across the country will start selling the scooter. The sticker price of Rs
29,990 makes the NYX the most affordable scooter in Hero Electric’s line-up, as
well as one of the most affordable two-wheelers in the Indian market. Hero
Electric is optimistic of achieving 1000 units in sales within the first two
weeks of the NYX’s launch.
The NYX will be offered with a free one
year roadside assistance plan. For now, the company has refrained from
revealing the technical details about the scooter. The Hero Electric NYX will
be available in two colour options - white and grey.

Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said, “Hero is registering a significant rise
in demand for its e-bikes. Amid growing awareness about sustainability, we have
decided to launch the Hero Electric NYX on World Environment Day to underline
the importance of eco-friendly modes of transport.”
