SsangYong Tivoli Air
Unveiled as the SsangYong
XLVat the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the SsangYong Tivoli Air has been launched in
South Korea in three trim levels with prices ranging from Won
19,490,000-24,490,000.
With a length, width and
height of 4,440 mm, 1,795 mm and 1,635 mm, the SsangYong Tivoli Air is 245
longer and 45 mm/35 mm taller than but has the same width as the SsangYong
Tivoli. The 2,600 mm-long wheelbase remains unchanged in the stretched version.
The SsangYong Tivoli Air
features the 1.6 e-XDi LET diesel engine from the Tivoli. This engine produces
115 PS and 30.6 kg.m of torque, and sends power to the wheels
via a 6-speed manual transmission or an Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic
transmission.
There’s no petrol engine choice for the Tivoli Air. Irrespective
of the trim level, the stretched Tivoli can be opted with a four-wheel drive
system. Seven exterior colour options are available, with an option for a
two-tone roof (without sunroof).
Thanks to the increased
length, the SsangYong Tivoli Air provides 720 litres of cargo space, which can
be increased to a total of 1,440 litres by folding the rear seats. The
second-row seats can recline up to 32.5 degrees. There’s a 220 volt inverter in
the cargo area for convenience of powering various electrical devices on the
go.
Other interior highlights include ventilated driver’s seat, heated steering
wheel, heating function for the second-row seats, dual-zone climate control,
7-inch display for the infotainment system, reversing camera and 6-speaker
sound system.
SsangYong aims to sell
20,000 units of the SsangYong Tivoli Air in the global market this year.
