Vastro Sixtys 50 / 125
With the explosion of
e-commerce sites discount trend, Chinese scooter found a new boom in France. To remain competitive and
attract new customers, Vastro presented its "sixtys" a typed retro
scooter that comes in 50 and 125 cc engine.
As implied in its name, the
Vastro sixtys inspired by 1960's scooters. Its lines and accessories are strongly
reminiscent of the Vespa and Lambretta models of yesteryear: large round
headlight on the handlebars, rocker fork, chrome luggage rack, whitewall tires, two-seater saddles all in length. The plastic fairings however quickly remind
one is in the presence of a copy.
Vastro equipped its sixtys with 1 cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled engine forced 49.6 and 124.6 cc. The first
develops 2.2 kW at 7500 rpm, against 5.3 kW for the second. This will propel
the 90 kilos scooters up to 45 and 95 km/h with better fuel consumption. Starting is electric and transmission based on a set inverter +
belt.
The sixtys 50 and 125 will
be available soon at the respective rates of 1490 and 1590 euros. You can buy them
in the small Vastro dealer network, but also in some Leclerc centers from
online discounters like Cdiscount.
