Renault Clio Edition One
Featuring exclusive equipment and
customization levels, the Edition One joins the updated Clio's range.
Offered in both hatch and estate
versions, the special edition is based on the Intens grade and carries a
starting price of € 19,650 (US$ 21,570) in France. It's available with exclusive
Pearlescent White, Titanium Grey, Glacier White, Platine Grey or Etoile Black
body work, roof decals, special rearview mirror casings and a set of 17-inch
alloy wheels.
Inside, things get a bit more
interesting, as the B-segment car carries exclusive smoke grey synthetic
leather/velour upholstery, full-grain leather steering wheel, central armrest,
height-adjustable front seats, a trim matching the roof decals, aluminum
pedals, dark-tinted rear windows and a Bose premium sound system with six
loudspeakers and a subwoofer.
The options list is extensive and it
includes the € 200 (US$ 220) fixed sunroof, which will drop the decals, metallic
paint for € 520 (US$ 570), special metallic paint for € 700 (US$ 768), R-Link Evolution
for an extra € 590 (US$ 648), City Plus Pack with front parking sensors and
rearview camera for an additional € 350 (US$ 384), Techno Pack, which is the most
expensive feature at € 1,090 (US$ 1,195), and a € 120 (US$ 132) spare wheel.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the
Renault Clio Edition One can be had with the TCe 90 PS and TCe 120 PS petrol units, along with the dCi 90 PS and dCi 110 PS diesels, mated to a standard six-speed manual gearbox, while the TCe 120 and
dCi 90 can be ordered with the EDC dual-clutch transmission.
