2018 Mercedes-AMG E63 Estate Black
Series (spyshot)
While we never thought of a ‘normal’ E63
AMG being in need of some additional ponies, the German company thinks we need
one and who are we to say no.
Thanks to Carscoops spies that sent a fresh
batch of photos, it looks like Mercedes-AMG is indeed going to bring back the
‘Black Series’ nameplate and the awesome widened arches that come with it.
This will be
the upcoming E63 AMG which will receive wider tracks along with bigger,
stickier tires to nest under those wonderful flares. The new super wagon will be powered by
an updated version of the twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine which will produce
between 25 to 50 hp more than the E63 S model.
Given than we already know
that the E63 S will offer 603 hp and 850 Nm of torque channeled to all
four wheels, the more powerful Black Series will probably become the most
unwanted vehicle to fill the mirrors of a supercar.
We can’t wait for Mercedes to
unveil its 650 hp monster wagon would be a massive understatement.
