Honda CB500X and CB500F H2C
Concepts
Honda’s two wheeler division
boasts of the largest two wheeler stall at the ongoing 2016 Bangkok Motor Show.
The market leader has numerous accessorized concepts on display including the
CB500X and CB500F H2C concepts.
The concept demonstrates the
adventure tourer’s ability to adopt a wide variety of aftermarket accessories
and performance parts. For starters, it gets a new grey-black color theme with
contrast red accents and white rim tapes.
Accessories include engine
guards, radiator guards, wheels sliders, carbon fibre pads on fuel tank,
leather seat cover, Givi pannier boxes and rear storage box, custom mirrors,
knuckle guards, LED spot lights, LED turn indicators and off-road tyres.
The CB500F H2C concept
receives black-orange livery with some white accents here and there. Noteworthy
accessories include carbon fibre finish for the front fender, split seats with
contrast stitching, custom handlebar mount, and a carbon fibre finished chain
sprocket cover and rear tyre hugger.
Both medium displacement
motorcycles are from the same family and hence share their powertrain. The 500
cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine produces A2 license-friendly 48 PS at
8,500 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Transmission is a 6-speed unit.
