Indian Frontier 111
With a history that began in
1901, the American Indian brand never ceases to surf his past to reinvent
itself. In this area, preparers are having a field day. This is the case of the
workshop Azzkikr Custom Baggers based in Phoenix, Arizona, who has just
delivered a masterful interpretation of Indian Springfield appeared to mark the
catalog earlier this year. This prototype is called Frontier 111.
The front end of this
Frontier 111 illustrates the clash of cultures met on this prototype, with one
side a huge front wheel 26-inch wide black beams topped with a Springer
suspension type metal blade. The front braking system is modern, since it has a
dual disc brake calipers. But it was hidden behind a cover to match the
aesthetic models tambour. Indian Frontier between tradition and modernity.
Resolutely forward bagger
mind, this 111 Frontier takes the big-twin of Springfield from 1811 cc. This
engine called 111 cubic inches naturally gave its name to the Frontier 111.
Another feature of this prototype, the stitched leather saddle handmade. The
two-tone fuel tank itself is home to the manipulation of elements.
The rear suspension
meanwhile remains more traditional, so to say. While his rear wheel 16 inches is
not exceptional, it is however equipped with a system that keeps the rear built
in low or high position. A low position for style, with rigid suitcases along
the ground and Indian Frontier 111, the high moteurpartie block for convenience
when the motorcycle shall ride in the middle of the holes and bumps of the
road.
