Lamborghini Huracan Spyder by Novitec Torado

Huracan owners looking to upgrade their ten-cylinder supercars can order up a whole raft of visual enhancements from their local Lamborghini dealership. But for those left wanting more, Novitec Torado has announced a whole mess of upgrades that penetrate further than the skin-deep.

Novitec's take on the Huracan Spyder features a full carbon-fiber aero kit, of course – complete with front splitter, hood vents, rocker panels, side intakes, rear diffuser and lip spoiler – all made of carbon fiber and tested in the wind tunnel. But that's not the end of it.

This roadster has been fitted with a pair of superchargers to the 5.2-liter V10 to bring output up from 602 horsepower to 860 hp, and from 413 lb-ft of torque to 708 lb-ft. That's an impressive increase that's sure to raise the performance level considerably to the point that it will likely leave even the Aventador SuperVeloce in its wake.

While it was at it, Novitec's Lambo tuning department also fitted a new exhaust system made from Inconel, and upgraded the rolling stock. 20-inch wheels up front and 21s at back are fitted with Pirelli P Zero rubber and mounted to a suspension dropped 35 millimeters closer to the tarmac.

The company is working on an adjustable coilover suspension as well. But as it stands, the German tuner's take on Sant'Agata's “baby supercar” looks pretty compelling already.
