Peugeot 208 Active Design And Allure
Premium
Peugeot has sprinkled the 208 supermini
lineup in the United Kingdom with additional features, wrapped under two
special editions.
Derived from the Active model, limited
to the 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine and available in both three- and
five-door configurations, the first one is called Peugeot 208 Active Design.
It features exterior personalization
items such as fog light finishers, 'equaliser' grille, gloss black side mirror
casings with accents and 16-inch Technical Grey alloy wheels. This special
edition is also available with two other personalization packs - Menthol White
and Lime Yellow, which complement the B-segment car with different paint
finishes.
The second Peugeot 208 special edition
to join Europe's right-hand drive market is known as Allure Premium and it only
comes as a 5-door, powered by the 1.2-liter PureTech petrol engine. This model
uses the specification of the regular Allure, it's available in two solid
colors - Hurricane Grey and Bianca White, or three metallic shades - Rioja Red,
Twilight Blue and Aluminium, and features 16-inch Titane Matt Black alloy
wheels, panoramic glass roof, rearview camera and sat-nav.
Both special editions are available to
order now and benefit from a customer saving of £ 1,200 (US$ 1,589) and, if
purchased with Peugeot Passport or Just Add Fuel, they will get an additional
£1,040 (US$ 1,377) contribution during the period.
