2017 Subaru BRZ GT
In Japan, the new BRZ GT can be had as a
separate trim with either a 6-speed manual gearbox that starts at 3,315,600 Yen
(US$ 31,900) or a 6-speed automatic from 3,375,000 Yen (US$ 32,500), both paired to a
standard 2.0-liter boxer engine.
As with the ‘Performance Package’ in the US, the GT
trim adds Sachs dampers that are claimed to provide a more composed ride and
better control while cornering, larger front and rear brakes with Brembo
calipers for improved stopping power and greater fade resistance, and black
painted 17-inch aluminum wheels. The Alcantara and leather seats, the front
heated, and a dedicated rear spoiler round out the BRZ GT’s upgrades.
