All-New Hyundai i30 Sport (render)
Hyundai could be yet again tempted to sell a sportier-looking version of their
all-new C-segment car. The reason why this i30 Sport is exciting only from a
visual perspective is that it only comes with a stylish body kit and absolutely
no performance upgrade of any kind, if history is to repeat itself.
Style-wise, this render by X-Tomi features a race
car-like livery, the aforementioned body kit (bumpers & sills), black alloy
wheels, a dark plastic surround for the grille and that's pretty much it. It's
definitely not a dull-looking hatchback, though being "all bark and no
bite" does have its downside, especially since Hyundai will be bringing
out the i30 N with around 260 HP.
Then again, there's also an incoming
1.6-liter turbocharged model delivering 201 HP and 300 Nm of
torque, that might attract even more customers if it came with this type of
styling upgrade. Think of it as a direct rival for the likes of the
new Renault Megane GT, which has 202 HP and 280 Nm of its own.
