Honda Brio facelift VX-MT (India)
Here are more images of the Honda Brio facelift
in India, hinting that the carmaker has started production of the updated Brio
at its Greater Noida manufacturing plant. The Brio facelift is expected to
launch in the coming weeks with a host of updates.
The Brio facelift gets a new black
grille with a chrome underline and a new front bumper, both of which are
inspired by the Honda Amaze facelift. The top-end VX-MT seen in this image
carries on with the same alloy wheel pattern as the pre-facelift model. While
there are no changes at the back (the Indian-spec Honda Brio facelift will not
get a rear wiper), the Brio facelift does get an updated interior.
The dashboard is now shared with the Amaze facelift
and Honda BR-V. This top-end variant of the Brio facelift gets an all-black
dashboard with black seat upholstery, though the lower variants could get a
dual-tone black-and-beige color theme.
The center console reveals the new 2-DIN music
system with Bluetooth support, whereas below that is the automatic climate
control which replaces the manual AC on the top-end variants; the entry- and
mid-level variants would continue with the manual AC controls.
The Brio facelift will see no changes to the 1.2-liter
i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol engine capable of 88 PS and 109 Nm of torque. While
it is presently available with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic, a CVT is
expected to replace the latter.
