VW Ameo Diesel
VW India has announced the prices and start of
bookings of the VW Ameo TDI (VW Ameo diesel).
· The VW Ameo TDI is available with 5-speed MT and 7-speed DSG
gearboxes.

The VW Ameo TDI packs a 1.5-liter four-cylinder TDI
diesel engine with increased power output compared to the Polo GT TDI and
Vento. This engine develops 110 PS at 4,000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque at
1,500-3,000 rpm on the Ameo TDI, and is offered with a 5-speed manual or a
7-speed DSG. The latter has an ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 21.73 km/l, while
the figure for the former is yet to be revealed.
The VW Ameo TDI, gets
ABS and dual front airbags as standard. Other features on the Ameo TDI include
cruise control, rain sensing wipers, front center armrest, static cornering
light, ESP and Hill hold control (only in DSG variants), rear view camera with
parking sensors, touchscreen entertainment with Mirror link, i-Pod
connectivity, phonebook/SMS viewer, automatic AC, electrically adjustable &
foldable wing mirrors with LED turn indicators, cooled glove box, auto-dimming
IRVM, tilt & telescopic steering wheel, alloy wheels and rear AC vents.
