2017 Chevrolet Sonic (Bogota)


The 2017 Chevrolet Sonic was launched in Colombia during the Bogotá Motor Show. With a restyled and more connected visual, GM's compact hatch costing 54.5 million pesos (R$ 58.4 thousand) in the hatch model, and 55.5 million pesos (R$ 59,400) in the sedan.


In its mid-cycle restyling, Sonic gained a new lead, abandoning the characteristic double headlights in favor of a more conventional optical assembly, which now features daytime LEDs. The front grille and bumpers are also new, forming a set in line with the brand's latest launches, such as Cruze, Malibu and Tracker, for example.

In terms of technology, highlight the MyLink system with integration for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless access and start button. The hatchback also features the new generation of Chevystar, the name that Colombians give the OnStar system. In addition, GM said it had upgraded the finish and materials used.


The restyled Sonic arrives in Colombia with the same engine Ecotec 1.6 16V, of 115 hp, associated to the manual exchange of five Or six-speed automatic.
