2017 Hyundai i30 CW (spy shot)
The Hyundai i30 CW (Cross Wagon) version has
yet to take off its camouflage. You could say that all that heavy camo is a bit
pointless since we're only expecting the estate's rear end to be different, but
Hyundai isn't taking any chances - they've even covered up the interior rather
well.
The cabin will be identical to that of the
5-door version, boasting the same optional 8-inch display with Apple CarPlay
& Android Auto, plus MyMusic functionality, a premium audio system, rear
view camera, as well as a wide array of safety features such as Smart Cruise
Control, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, Speed Limit Information Function,
High Beam Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking with Front Collision Warning and
Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Its engine lineup should include the same three
petrol and three diesel units found underneath the hood of the hatch. The
petrol range comprises of an entry-level 1.4-liter 100 PS petrol unit, a
1.0-liter three-cylinder 120 PS petrol and a 140 PS 1.4-liter T-GDI
turbocharged four. As for the diesels, it's a 1.6-liter DOHC, which is
available in three outputs: 95 PS, 110 PS and 136 PS.
Once it
arrives, it will battle the likes of the Golf Variant, Megane Sport Tourer,
Focus Sportbreak and Astra Sports Tourer.
