2017 Triumph Street Twin Scrambler
The new Triumph Street Twin Scrambler takes style from Street Twin Bonneville and makes room for modern and minimal body work
with clean lines. The premise of better ride experience is based on tech and
body improvement. Colour options include Jet Black Matt Khaki Green, Korosi Red and Frozen Silver.
Powered by the
900 cc T100 Bonneville engine to deliver more torque and power in the low down
and mid-range to make city riding and off-roading a better experience on the
engine, exhaust and rider focused tech front. It features switchable ABS, and
traction control, and a torque assist clutch.
The new twin Scrambler brushed stainless steel
exhaust works with a cat box combined with stainless steel silencers in
contrasting black heat shields. New Scrambler chassis and suspension is
upgraded and tuned to for neutral and predictable riding.
Seat height is lower which makes the bike more
manageable and accessible. Changes in front and rear suspension (longer rear
shocks) raises back end ride height. Wide and tapered aluminium handlebars and
larger wire spoked wheels add riding position confidence.
Other features include an interchangeable pillion
seat and aluminium rear rack, removable pillion pegs, ‘Bear Trap’ adventure
style front pegs and bash plate.
There’s the Ribbed Alcantara-style twin seat with
contrast stitching, embossed logo Aluminium headlight bracket, black headlight
bezel, new front mudguard, detailed rubber knee pads, contemporary mirrors,
gun-metal finish engine badges, and brushed aluminium tank logo decals that add
to the bikes distinct appeal.
